Walgreens Fall 2015 Disney Villains Haul & Swatches

Walgreens Fall 2015 Disney Villains Collection Jealous Blush, Leviathan Shimmer Powder, Majestic Lipstick, Dragon's Lair Lipstick, Potion Lipstick, Vixen's Kiss Lip Color Set

Years ago, MAC released their iconic Venomous Villains Collection that made being bad feel so good. Unfortunately, I wasn’t really into makeup so I completely missed out. I was hoping to get my thrills from the Maleficent and Cinderella collections but they didn’t seem nearly as nice as Venomous Villains.

Thanks to Walgreens, I get to bring out my dark side just in time for Halloween with their exclusive new limited edition Disney Villains Collection for fall. I recently came across a huge display of lipsticks, brushes and more all donning some of our fave Disney Villains.

Disney Potion, Dragon's Lair, Majestic Lipstick

There’s 3 lipsticks in the collection including:

Disney Potion, Dragon's Lair, Majestic Lipstick

They’re all reds, of course, but I picked them all up anyway because they’re freaking adorable. Who could really resist?? I was itching to get my hands on Maleficent’s Dragon Lair because I live for deep brown-reds and it looks like the perfect fall/winter red lip. I was on the fence when it came to Potion and Majestic though. They’re both very bright and they look pretty similar too. Here’s to hoping I like them a little better once I try them on.

Disney Maleficent Vixen's Kiss Lip Color Set

The first time I went to Walgreens I didn’t even notice this set. Crazy right? Leave it to Instagram to show it to me and have me running back for it. I can’t say I regret the enabling this time because the Maleficent Vixen’s Kiss Lip Color Set looks quite nice.

There’s 3 chubby pencils: a bright violet, fuchsia pink and vibrant berry. They’re all rather flattering shades that’ll work on a variety of complexions–even us chocolate divas. I do wish they were individually named but I’m really digging the colors and they swatched pretty well so I’m looking forward to trying them.

Disney Evil Queen Jealous Blush

Believe it or not, I was the most excited for the Evil Queen’s Jealous Blush. It’s a bright warm coral with chunky golden shimmer that looks like it’ll work well on my complexion. I’ve wanted the MAC Bite of An Apple Blush ever since I came across the Venomous Villains collection so it’s nice to finally get my hands on something similar.

Disney Evil Queen Jealous Blush

Jealous Blush seems to be a little lighter and a tad powdery but if it shows up well on me I’ll definitely be tossing it into rotation. I have a feeling it will work well though. It reminds me of NARS Orgasm a bit except it’s a lot more pigmented so fingers crossed!

Disney Ursula Leviathan Shimmer Powder

Last but not least, I snatched up the Ursula Leviathan Shimmer Powder. It has a very sheer white base and loads of iridescent micro-glitter. The first thing I thought was, “This would look amazing in my inner corners!” I could definitely see this baby brightening up my eyes or making a statement all over the lid. It’s flat out gorgeous in person!

  1. Oooh! What a cute collection! I’m not reaallly a Disney villain gal, but I do like the Evil Queen. The Dragon’s Lair lipstick is gorgeous!! The lip set is pretty nice too, but I don’t play nice with purples. I bet they’ll all look beautiful on you! Can we get a look with some of these soon? =)

    1. Dragon’s Lair is everything! I’m glad Disney decided to be a little daring and add a vampy red. I’ve actually been wearing the lipsticks a lot lately so I’ll be sure to upload a look!
