There’s many different things that can hinder retention and one of the most common is a lack of moisture. I’m big on moisturizing and sealing my hair regularly because it’s an easy way to make sure I’m keeping my tresses hydrated and healthy–especially my ends. My relaxed hair is very thick and dry so I heavily rely on a good leave-in conditioner to moisturize my hair and keep it healthy.

During a recent trip to Sally Beauty, I came across the Creme of Nature Argan Oil Strength & Shine Leave-In Conditioner. The Creme of Nature Argan Oil line is very popular among natural and relaxed hair gals so I was a bit curious to see how the leave-in would work for me. My hair loves argan oil and conditioner so it had to be a match made in heaven, right?

It really is! The Argan Oil Strength & Shine Leave-In Conditioner really drew me in at first because of the convenient spray bottle application but it’s also very moisturizing and smells so good with a yummy earthy vanilla scent. It’s a very lightweight water-based formula that instantly absorbs into my hair leaving it feeling soft and silky while adding lots of shine. I’ve been using it nightly since I’ve picked it up and I just can’t get enough of how soft it and manageable it makes my hair.

What really impressed me, though, is how awesome it is even on straightened hair. It worked really well as a leave-in and detangler on my wet hair as I air dried but it also works like a charm when my hair is flat ironed. I use it every night from ends to roots before wrapping my hair and in the morning my hair looks and feels like a fresh flat iron. No reversion. No frizz. Just smooth, soft and shiny tresses. It’s hard to believe it only costs 7 bucks. Such a steal! Whether you have relaxed or natural hair, I think the Creme of Nature Argan Oil Strength & Shine Leave-In Conditioner is a must try for dry hair.
