Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner Review

Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner

I know it can be hard to believe that there’s good skincare products in the drugstore aisles, but trust me, it’s true. Lines like CeraVe, Cetaphil and Neutrogena have really impressed me this year so I’ve been more open to trying other brands like Shea Moisture and now Pixi.

Pixi is mostly known for their affordable makeup line but they also have a small yet mighty collection of Skintreats, all available exclusively at Target. There’s 2 mists and a toner which are all popular but the toner has gained a cult like following worldwide.

Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner

Pixi’s Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner is formulated with 5% Glycolic Acid, aloe vera and ginseng to help tone, firm and tighten the skin all while gently removing dead skin cells. I’ve been using Glow Tonic for over a month now and I’m in love with the results.

Every morning and night, I use Glow Tonic after cleansing and it leaves my skin so soft yet a little tight — as I’ve just exfoliated. My skincare products melt like butter the second they touch my skin after using Glow Tonic and my highlight always looks amazing thanks to my natural glow. I was a little nervous about using an exfoliating toner on my super sensitive, dry skin but Glow Tonic has worked incredibly well for me. I’ve actually noticed less breakouts since I’ve been using it regularly.

I’ll always have a special place in my heart for my Chanel toner but I actually like Pixi’s Glow Tonic better, believe it or not. Chanel’s Lotion Douceur is very hydrating and great for people with dry, sensitive skin but my skin has been in tip top shape since using Glow Tonic and it’s only $15. The bottle is a bit small though so I’m plotting on ordering the full sized bottle for $29 online at Pixi because I don’t think I can live without this stuff.

If you’re on the hunt for a good toner or having some skin troubles I think you should definitely check out the Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner. Judging by the reviews online, it works wonder for all skin types. Just be sure to follow up with sunscreen during the day because glycolic acid can cause sun sensitivity.
