Too Faced Your Love Is King Love Flush Blush Review
There comes a time in every makeup junkie’s life when she finds herself stuck in a rut. This year, I’ve been in a serious blush rut. At first, I wasn’t wearing blush because I was almost always rushing to get ready for work. Once I started giving myself more time, all I reached for was natural blushes that just offered a little warmth or the slightest wash of color. Not nearly enough for my deep chocolatey complexion all of the time. I need some color!
I can’t do a bright blush everyday though. That’s why I love Too Faced Your Love Is King Love Flush Blush right now. Actually, I think I may love it for life because it’s been reminding me just how much I’ve missed a popping blush. Your Love Is King is a muted fuchsia with a hint of plum and a satin finish that looks good on just about everyone. Especially my brown skin divas. It’s a beautiful easy to wear pink blush for WOC.
Your Love Is King has a smooth, silky texture that’s very finely milled and moderately pigmented. It’s not exactly sheer but it’s not overpoweringly pigmented either. Your Love Is King has just the right amount of pigment to deliver a soft berry pink flush that’s buildable yet surprisingly hard to overdo.
The formula boasts a 16 hour wear time but it holds up on my dry skin for around 10 hours before I begin to notice any fading. Falls a little short of Too Faced’s boastful claim but still holds up pretty nicely. I’ve been wearing Your Love Is King just about everyday now because it works so well on my complexion and plays nicely with just about all of my fall lippies. If you’ve been in a bit of a blush rut then you’ll probably enjoy Too Faced Your Love Is King Love Flush Blush, too. You can check it out at your local Ulta or Sephora.

Ah, it’s hard not to love bright blush on every skin tone! Of course, WOC can get by wearing the brightest of the blushes and not looking even remotely like a clown, especially the ones with that super glamorous nearly-pitch-black skin like Alek Wek or Ataui Deng… doesn’t matter if you’re wearing bright purple blush, it still somehow manages to look like it’s either perfect lighting or simply a natural flush! So pretty.
Love your look, you look like a perfect combo of classy and playful! =) It’s such a pretty blush… and I just love those bunnies! I /almost/ got this shade (because I cannot be held back from my bright blush obsession) but ended up opting for the more boring I Will Always Love You. /Probably/ better for my skin tone, but you only live once, right? =P
