Chanel Wild Rose Glossimer Review

Chanel 119 Wild Rose Glossimer Review

Liquid lipsticks have been quite an addiction for me these days but they can start to get drying after a while. Especially if you spend most of your time talking all day. Lucky for me, I’ve been digging up some pretty nice glosses. Like the Chanel Wild Rose Glossimer. It’s been my saving grace this past week as I’ve been rocking ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks back to back.

Wild Rose is a shimmering neutral pink with multi-dimensional micro-glitter that makes my lips look full and juicy thanks to all that luscious shine. It’s the perfect lipstick topper for nude and brown lips as the shimmer really makes them pop and helps revive dry lips. I love how Wild Rose looks paired with ColourPop’s Chilly Chili and Limbo Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. They’re both beautiful nude lip combos for brown skin that’s super easy to wear.

Wild Rose goes on nice and smoothly with a slightly thick texture that’s surprisingly comfortable to wear and lightly moisturizing. It’s not sticky at all but it is a little tacky to help the formula adhere to the lips better for longer wear. Which really works because Wild Rose hangs on for around 3-4 hours before beginning to fade into a shimmering stain.

As you can imagine, Wild Rose is a bit pricey ($30) as it’s Chanel, of course. However, it’s an easily dupable shade so you don’t necessarily have to rush out to the Chanel counter for a similar look. But if you don’t mind shelling out a few extra bucks for the luxury then I say go for it! The Chanel Wild Rose Glossimer will make a great addition to anyone’s collection.
