Lipstick junkie or not. When fall and winter roll around you need at least one good vampy lipstick to get you through the cold seasons. It’s an absolute must have! ‘Cause nothing says fierce like a killer vampy lip piercing through a winter wonderland. If I had to toss all of my vampy lipsticks in favor of just one I would probably cry. But once I my eyes were dry, I’d pick up my ColourPop Guess Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick and fall right back into being fierce.

Cause Guess is all about attitude. It’s not just for any ol’ lipstick lover. Guess is for the die hard vampy lip lovers who are bonafide fierce divas at heart. It’s a blackened violet that pulls almost straight up black with a tinge of purple and an ultra matte finish. I’ve been finding myself reaching for it a lot lately because it just sets the mood for the season and pairs oh so well with my signature cat eye.

The color isn’t the best part though. The formula is divine too! Most vampy lipsticks this deep tend to apply a bit patchy and unevenly but not Guess. Surprisingly, this $6 liquid lipstick glides on like a dream and adheres just fine to that tricky inner portion of my bottom lip where other vampy lippies would slide right off.

And the best part?

Guess stays put all damn day! I have literally applied Guess in the wee hours of the morning only to come home well pass sunset and still have a pout that rivals a black hole still going strong. Of course, Guess does start to fade a bit in the center around 6-7 hours but I’m easily able to get a full day of wear without worrying about touch-ups. And as long as I prep with a good balm before (like Nivea’s or Dior’s) it doesn’t feel too drying once it begins to fade either.
