New Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Shades!
Holiday collections get me every time. The sets and palettes are always super cute and come with amazing prices. The only thing I don’t like is that all of the good stuff is usually limited edition. Never to be seen again. I branched out a lot over the holidays and tried a couple of new brands including Stila. I’ve never tried any Stila products before but when they released 2 limited edition mini liquid lipstick sets I knew it was the perfect time to jump on board.
Even though the Eternal Love Liquid Lipstick Set was super tiny, it packed a very powerful punch and I ended up falling in love with the formula. My only disappointment was that the 2 shades I loved most, Baci and Ricco, were both limited edition. Boo! Apparently, I wasn’t the only makeup junkie who fell in love with Baci and Ricco because Stila decided to add them to their permanent lineup along with the other 6 shades that appeared in the larger holiday set. Yaaaaaaaas, Stila!
Don’t you just love when limited edition products become permanent? I know I do. Especially when they’re as good as the Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. The Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks have a slightly thick mousse like consistency that applies smoothly and evenly with intense pigmentation and a lightweight, creamy texture. After a minute or so, it sets to a budge-proof ultra matte finish that lasts for between 5-7 hours before I notice some slight fading.
Of course, the Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks can start to feel a little dry as they wear off but I still found them to be pretty easy on the lips and comfortable to wear. Just be sure to exfoliate and moisturize with a good lip balm for the best results.
Since I grabbed the Eternal Love Liquid Lipstick Set, I already own 3 of the new shades including:
- Ricco berry wine
- Beso bright cherry red
- Baci cool neutral pink
My favorite of the bunch is Ricco as it’s a gorgeous fall and winter shade that’s incredibly flattering and easy to pull off for a variety of skin tones. I also loved Baci too, though. It’s a beautiful pale pinky nude with a slight hint of grey that looks amazing when paired with a plummy brown lip liner like Chanel 54 Amarante Le Crayon Levres. I’m still not the biggest red lip fan but I still liked the way Beso looked on me. Especially when I rocked it with a deeper vampy liner like ColourPop Ellarie Lippie Pencil.
I know you’re probably feeling a little overwhelmed with all of the liquid lipstick choices out there but if you’re new to the game or just a lipstick junkie (like me) I totally think you should check out the new Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. There’s a shade for everyone and the formula is quite nice! I’m actually looking forward to grabbing a few of the full sized shades soon.
