Raise your hand if you can’t resist beautiful highlighters. It’s okay girl. You’re in good company! If I could have both hands raised as I write this I totally would because I just can’t get enough of highlighters right now. The latest shimmering powders to catch my eye are the gorgeous Dior Diorskin Nude Air Illuminating Powders from the enchanting limited edition Glowing Gardens Collection for spring.

There’s 2 shades available: 001 Glowing Nude, a luminous beige, and 002 Glowing Pink, a pale pink. Usually, my first instinct is to reach for the golden bronze highlights, like 001 Glowing Nude, but Dior did such an amazing job with the Glowing Gardens Collection that I actually want both. Not just because they’re stunning to look at (just look at that embossing ?) but also because the quality is so bomb. Both of the Glowing Gardens Illuminating Powders have a finely milled texture that’s so soft that it almost feels like a cream. They’re both rather pigmented and loaded with fine shimmer that offers a beautiful glow that doesn’t look to shimmery or seem to emphasize pores too much.

While checking out the Hollywood Walk of Fame, I spotted an enormous Sephora and popped in just to swatch these beauties. Huge mistake! I knew I would be mesmerized by 001 Glowing Nude but I also fell in love with 002 Glowing Pink. I hate to admit it but 001 Glowing Nude is like your typical golden bronze highlight. But 002 Glowing Pink, however, has this soft lilac-pink duochrome effect that is absolutely stunning in person. Pictures seriously don’t do the swatches any justice! Whether you’re a pale pearl or a dark diva, I highly recommend taking a trip to your local Dior counter to grab one (or both) of the Diorskin Glowing Garden Illuminating Powders before they disappear!
