ELF Berry Kiss Moisturizing Lipstick Review

ELF Berry Kiss Moisturizing Lipstick

Matte lips will always hold a special place in my heart but sometimes my dry lips can’t always handle how intensely drying they can be. Especially after a long day of talking at work. Every now and then, I like to switch it up from matte lips to creamier formulas like the new ELF Moisturizing Lipsticks. They’re exactly the breath of fresh air my parched lips have been dying for.

The first shade I tried was Berry Kiss. It’s a neutral pinky rose that’s flattering on all complexions but works especially well as an everyday pink for brown skin. I wore Berry Kiss almost everyday for a week straight because it was easy to apply and even easier on my dry lips.

Berry Kiss applies smoothly and evenly with soft, creamy texture and sheer yet buildable coverage. It takes a few swipes to build Berry Kiss to full intensity but it doesn’t start to look or feel cakey nor does it settle into lip lines, feather or bleed. So it’s all good. As the name implies, Berry Kiss offers a light dose of moisture so it’s quite comfortable to wear from start to finish.

When built to full intensity, Berry Kiss lasts around 4 hours but it tends to wear off a bit easily if you rock it sheer (around 2-3 hours). Which is pretty standard for a creamy formula. If you’d like to take a quick (and cheap) break from matte lips then I think you’ll really enjoy Berry Kiss as its widely flattering on a variety of complexions and feels pretty good. However, if you’re looking for a long-lasting lipstick to keep your kissers covered throughout a long day then you can safely skip Berry Kiss. You can find Berry Kiss and the rest of the ELF Moisturizing Lipsticks at CVS, Target, Walmart and ELF.
