Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots Review
Sundays are all about skincare and Peter Thomas Roth is giving me the skin fix of a lifetime. After a fun weekend in LA, my skin was beginning to suffer a bit. Nothing too major. Just the annoying rash of tiny bumps all over–like an allergic reaction or something. I haven’t been using anything new lately but I drank a lot more alcohol and indulged in a ton of greasy food and loads of carbs everyday while on vacation and I think my skin is starting to feel the effects of it. Don’t you hate that?
Thanks to Peter Thomas Roth, though, my skin has been getting back on track. I’ve been detoxing regularly with my Cucumber Gel Mask since I’ve been home and treating my larger blemishes with the new Acne-Clear Invisible Dots. I received them a few weeks ago in my massive skincare gratis bag from Ulta and I’ve been breaking them out ever since when I start to notice larger than normal blemishes.
The Acne-Clear Invisible Dots are small, clear invisible dots (as the name implies) designed to eliminate blemishes overnight as you sleep. What could be better than that? The Acne-Clear Invisible Dots comes in a set of 72 dots or a pack of12 dots in large and small sizes to cover any blemish your skin throws at you. Each dot is formulated with a blend of:
- 0.5% Salicylic Acid proven to treat active blemishes and prevent new ones from forming
- Tea Tree Oil an essential oil with natural antimicrobial activity that works on the skin-dwelling bacteria involved in the development of problem skin
- Hyaluronic Acid a humectant that works to keep skin hydrated and pulls moisture from the air
- Volcanic Ash a natural absorbent
Application is rather simple. You peel an Acne-Clear Invisible Dot off the pad and apply it to your blemish–completely covering the area. Simply leave it on overnight (a full 8 hours) and remove it in the morning to reveal either blemish-free skin or a dramatic reduction of the blemish. The first time I used the Acne-Clear Invisible Dots it completely removed my blemish. The second time, I noticed a huge difference in the size of my blemish the next morning with it completely disappearing by the next day.
I’ve never struggled with acne and, to be honest, I’m not sure if I’ve ever truly had a pimple. So I can’t confidently say it’ll be an end all be all for folks with severe acne. However, if you experience the occasional blemish or two after a long weekend of partying, diet change or even sleeping in your makeup (you naughty girl, you) then the Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots will probably be your best friend. I still think they’re worth a try even if you suffer from serious acne too judging by the ingredients. They’re well worth the try! If you’re looking to clear up your blemishes in a flash then I highly recommend checking out the Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots at your local Ulta or Sephora.
