Clearance Chronicles: Mass Skincare Haul

Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes, Pacifica Instant Karma Facial Cleansing Oil

Have you been to your local Ulta lately and checked out the clearance section? OMG! There have been so many markdowns throughout the company that my store has decided to put up two huge towers of them right by the cash wrap that get me every single time. Every week, there’s a new wave of clearance items that I either wanted to buy when it was full price or just couldn’t resist the super low price on the orange sticker. It’s starting to get a little sick how addicted I’ve become to scouring the clearance racks and those damn orange stickers but I’m slowly starting to embrace it. Who couldn’t use a good deal now and then? Or every week? ?

Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes

I discovered a lot of different brands that were new to me when I to Ipsy Generation Beauty LA earlier this year. One of the brands that stood out the most to me was Derma E because the girls were super sweet and the natural based products really caught my interest because I have sensitive skin and can be a little picky about what I use. So when I spotted a few Derma E products on clearance I decided to grab one to test out (along with my Ipsy goodies) to get a good feel of the brand. Most of the products were for acne prone skin but I also spotted these Hydrating Facial Wipes with Hyaluronic Acid that had to come home with me. Hyaluronic acid retains moisture and helps to hydrate, plump and strengthen skin’s natural moisture barrier so it’s a must have ingredient for my dry skin and fine lines. The Hydrating Facial Wipes are also formulated glycerin, grape seed extract and other natural ingredients that offer antioxidant protection while gently removing makeup, dirt, oil and impurities. Sounds like exactly what my skin needs after a long day! The only downside is that it seems like Ulta is discontinuing them from the store so if you want to try or already love the Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes you need to stock up now or else you’ll be stuck ordering online.

Pacifica Instant Karma Facial Cleansing Oil

I also spotted a few Pacifica products which got me excited because I’ve heard a lot of great things about Pacifica but have yet to try any of their products. Most of the Pacifica clearance goodies were BB Creams and such that, of course, were way too pale for me (boo!) but there were a couple bottles of the Instant Karma Facial Cleansing Oil for half off so I quickly grabbed a bottle before it disappeared. I’ve become addicted to double cleansing with cleansing oils because my face always feels thoroughly clean and makeup free afterwards so I’ve been stocking up on cleansing oils lately. The Pacifica Instant Karma Facial Cleansing Oil intrigued me because it’s also formulated with natural ingredients. It boasts a blend of natural oils including sunflower oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil and more to gently break down makeup while removing dirt, oil and impurities. I really look forward to breaking this baby out because it seems as if it’s going to be really soothing and hydrating for my dry skin. Again, it appears that Ulta is discontinuing the Pacifica Instant Karma Facial Cleansing Oil as well so I highly recommend raiding your local Ulta clearance section for it before it’s gone for good!
