Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo Review

Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo

Embarking on a healthy hair journey requires a lot of maintenance and upkeep that can be hard to maintain when you have a busy schedule. One of the biggest things I struggle with is finding time to wash (or co-wash) my hair every week like I used to. Or the energy. Because we all know that wash day can be a bit of a hassle and a lot of struggle with all the detangling, styling and such. So much work! That’s why most of the time, I like to keep my hair up in a bun because it doesn’t require much work and I can go straight from wet hair into a bun that I don’t have to touch again until wash day.

But every now and then, I like to get a little jazzy and straighten my hair to feel fierce and actually look my age for once. The last time I straightened my hair was for Ipsy Generation Beauty LA earlier this year and the results were great. My hair was flowing, had lots of body and shine. I was able to keep up with my straight hair for about a week before I came back home (and back to reality) and went to make a coffee before work. For some reason, my mom is terrible at completely closing bottles and this particular day she didn’t snap the lid on the coffee creamer. So when I grabbed it out of the fridge, creamer went everywhere including all over the left side of my hair. OMG! I love my mom to death but that morning I could have rung her neck LOL!

Now here I am rushing to get to work after a 5 hour flight, 2 hours of sleep and wet sticky hair with just a few minutes to leave out for work so I could make it on time. I was in full on panic mode. I rushed upstairs to grab a brush, lightly wet it and then sprayed a little leave-in conditioner before brushing my hair like a maniac to get stop it from clumping and sticking together. It worked a little to make my hair look presentable for work at least. But I noticed that my hair was seriously starting to shed and break off from the coffee creamer and I knew I was going to have to wash it out. At this point I’m freaking out because I’m super exhausted after LA and work back to back and the last thing I felt like doing was coming home and washing my hair which was a sticky mess with heavy breakage.

Then I remembered that I received a couple cans of Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo in one of my Ipsy Generation Beauty LA goodie bags. I’ve never tried a dry shampoo before so I wasn’t sure how things were going to turn out but after the first couple of sprays I immediately learned why people go so crazy over dry shampoos. They really work! The Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo completely rid my hair of that awful sticky coffee creamer leaving it soft, smooth and shiny–and seriously knocked out the breakage. I could hear the hallelujah chorus ringing when I thoroughly sprayed my hair and started brushing through it. The Clear Dry Shampoo revived my hair in seconds and saved me from another long wash day and successfully prolonged my straight ‘do until the next wash day. After that traumatic experience, I can whole heartedly say that I’m a true believer in dry shampoo now and a huge fan of Marc Anthony’s Clear Dry Shampoo. From now on, I’m going to keep a can of Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo on hand just in case and you should too if you don’t have the time or energy to wash your hair as often as you’d like. Or if you just want to cut back on harsh shampooing that can strip your hair. Or, hair gods forbid, that you end up getting coffee creamer in your hair. Bottom line, you need to give the Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo a try!
