New Too Faced Goodies!
I’m no mind reader but I definitely predict that Too Faced will be taking over my makeup collection this year. The spring collection has already gotten a lot of my coins and from the looks of Instagram the upcoming summer collection is going to be bomb too. Too Faced can pretty much just have all of my money at this point because they’ve been whipping up some wonderful products over there. Which is exactly why I didn’t hesitate at all when I came across a $20 off $40 coupon at HSN that applied to their beauty department as well. Bring on the discount Too Faced!
The first thing I popped into my cart was the Born This Way Foundation. It’s a medium to full coverage foundation with a natural satin finish that’s oil free and formulated with some rather nice ingredients. Born This Way is infused with coconut water to help replenish skin’s moisture level for a radiant, hydrated appearance. It’s also formulated with Alpine Rose to help brighten skin and promote elasticity as well as hyaluronic acid to balance skin for a smoother, more youthful appearance. Born This Way is pretty much perfect skin in a bottle.
When Born This Way first released, there was plenty of shades in the range but it wasn’t very diverse with both pale and deeper skin beauties feeling left out without a match. Recently, Too Faced relaunched Born This Way to include a much broader shade range that still isn’t perfect but a bit more inclusive. This time around, I was actually able to find a match which turned out to be the deepest shade, Mahogany. Mahogany is described as deep with neutral to pink shades but it’s actually a warm caramel bronze with a strong red undertone. It works well for me because I have a bit more red in my skin than yellow but for true neutral or yellow toned beauties Mahogany may run a little orange. I’ve been wearing Born This Way for a few weeks now and I really love the formula. It has a nice consistency and great coverage so a little goes a very long way. I love that it doesn’t feel drying or too made up despite the higher level of coverage. My only complaint is that it does tend to fall into my smile lines throughout the day. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful foundation that makes my skin look flawless and always racks up the compliments.
The insanely adorable Mr. Right Perfect Powder Brush has been on my list forever so I had to pop it in my cart as well. The Mr. Right Perfect Powder Brush is a multitasking brush that can be used wet or dry with foundation, powder, blush and bronzer. Basically, you can use it pretty much anyway you like. Hence the name Mr. Right Perfect Powder Brush. He’s literally all you need! Mr. Right Perfect Powder Brush features synthetic bristles that are cruelty free and safe to use with liquid, cream and powder making a great (and cute) brush to add to your collection. I’ve been using it as a bronzer and blush brush with great results as Mr. Right is very soft and he has a nice tapered point that allows for precise placement and blending. I almost want another one! ?
After an amazing training session at Ulta with the wonderful Melissa from Too Faced I was pretty much hooked on the new spring collection. One of my must haves was the new Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo in Warm Glow. Candlelight Glow features Too Faced’s Photolite technology which diffuses and refracts light for glowing, lit from within skin under all lighting conditions. Warm Glow includes a pale yellow gold and light peachy gold highlight that are both littered with fine gold shimmer to help skin illuminate and glow. I wore Candlelight Warm Glow for the first time yesterday and fell head over heels in love with how freaking gorgeous it is. No matter what kind of lighting I was in, Warm Glow had my cheeks shining and glowing with this soft golden glow that was simply stunning. It really captured my heart once I got out into the sun and my cheeks looked like they were infused with flecks of solid gold. If you follow me on Snapchat, then you probably already got a glimpse of how amazing Candlelight Warm Glow is in the flesh. You absolutely need it if you live for a killer highlight like I do!

That foundation is the business, I had to stop myself from using it so much because I didn’t want to finish up the bottle so quick lol. I’ve been eyeing the brush and now that I know HSN has it I may have to invest, he’s so cute with his bowtie
It really is! The more I use it, the more I like it. The formula reminds me of Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation but at a much better price lol. You should definitely go ahead and get the brush too. It’s so cute and really soft too. Makes me want to try some of their other brushes now!
