New Too Faced La Creme Lipsticks Haul & Swatches
January was all about glowing skin at Ulta but February was all about spring collections and boy was it exciting! Between NYX and Maybelline, I was already losing my mind but then Too Faced rolled up the scene with a ton of new releases that I just couldn’t leave behind. Too Faced is hands down the best when it comes to cute packaging which I’m a huge sucker for so it’s no surprise that I ended up picking up a huge chunk of their spring collection. It started with the adorable Chocolate Bon Bons Palette and then it all went downhill from there when two lovely Too Faced vendors dropped in to give me a hand with my Prestige training last week. They made me want everything!
I would love to tell you that the new La Creme Color Drenched Lipsticks were my first and last stop but I’d totally be lying lol. They were definitely a great start though! Too Faced scrapped a few of the older La Creme Lipstick shades in favor of 10 newer, trendier shades that are bound to catch your eye. I want almost all 10 of them but I started off somewhat slow by picking up just 4 of them including:
- Clueless metallic shimmering cotton candy
- Mean Girls metallic shimmering cool pink
- Wham! metallic iridescent raspberry
- Ursula metallic deep shimmering plum
Notice a theme here? They’re all metallic and loaded with glitter! I’m a straight up glitter freak so I damn near lost my mind when I saw how shimmery some of the new La Creme Lipsticks were. Initially, I had my eye on just Unicorn Tears but it’s forever sold out which led me to start swatching the other metallic shades that turned out to be just as gorgeous. All of the new metallic La Creme Lipsticks are littered with chunky multicolored glitter that gives them a nice duochrome effect as well as a killer metallic finish that actually wears quite well. I was expecting them to feel a little gritty on the lips but I’m wearing Mean Girls right now and it’s actually rather smooth and creamy. I don’t too much feel the glitter even though it’s crazy apparent on the lips which I love! I know super shimmery metallic lipsticks aren’t for everyone but if you bleed glitter like I do then you need to run to your local Ulta or Sephora to get your hands on the new Too Faced La Creme Lipsticks starting with Unicorn Tears, Clueless, Mean Girls, Wham! and Ursula. They’re a must have for glitter junkies!
