On Wednesdays We Wear Pink!
I hope you’re not tired of Hello Kitty just yet because the party is still going on over here! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Pink Wednesday than to rock a sweet pink manicure featuring the OPI Hello Kitty Collection. Yet again. Sorry guys. I just can’t help it! I love pink, glitter and Hello Kitty so when you combine the 3 together you can bet I’m all over it. All day, everyday boo!
I’ve managed to pick up the majority of the limited edition OPI Hello Kitty Collection from my local Ulta but there were a few shades missing from the collection that never popped up in store. One of them being Super Cute in Pink, a magenta with a hint of purple and a sheer, buildable gel finish. Of course, it was the first shade on my list when I saw pictures of the entire collection. I waited around for a few weeks to see if it would pop up but it never did so I finally decided to order it online from Ricky’s NYC along with My Twin Mimmy.
Just as I’d imagined, Super Cute in Pink is just beautiful! It’s very easy to wear and has a nice hint of purple that makes just as sweet and girly as it looks in the bottle. It goes on slightly sheer with just one coat but after two coats it’s much more opaque with a nice gel-like finish that gives Super Cute in Pink a soft finish. Because we all know I love glitter, I had to add sprinkle in a little of Starry-Eyed for Daniel for an accent nail. It’s a hot pink-magneta glitter that’s opaque enough to be worn alone. I actually skipped applying Super Cute in Pink on my pinky and instead just opted for 2 coats of Starry-Eyed for Daniel which turned out beautifully. I can definitely see myself rocking Starry-Eyed for Daniel all over for a future manicure as it’s one of the cutest pink glitters I’ve ever laid eyes on. I just love it!
What’s on currently on your nails?
