If there was one thing I learned from my quick stint with Bobbi Brown it’s that she makes some amazing quality makeup. There’s a reason why Bobbi Brown is a household name all over the globe. That woman really knows her stuff! From her massive foundation range to her stunning Shimmer Bricks, Bobbi Brown has managed to create a quite impressive makeup line with a huge following that’s greatly deserved. I didn’t know too much about Bobbi Brown products before I worked there but I quickly discovered why everyone was so crazy about them. Especially her makeup brushes.

Typically when people buy makeup at a counter they choose to buy brushes elsewhere at a cheaper price. However, I came across a ton of die hard Bobbi fans that wouldn’t just buy her makeup and call it day. They just had to have the accompanying brush too. The only other brand I can think of a with a cult following like that is MAC, but I have to say, Bobbi Brown completely blows MAC out of the water. Her brushes are sturdy, well built, extremely soft and incredibly functional. I learned in Bobbi school that she personally designs her makeup brushes with professional artistry in mind so that they practically do all the work for you. I thought it was just some fancy tale to help us sell more brushes but the more I used them, the more I found that it was true.

My favorite Bobbi Brown brush is the Eye Blender Brush because it blends shadows like no tomorrow with no excessive wristwork or a spending 10+ minutes in the mirror. The Eye Blender Brush is a fluffy natural haired blush that designed blend shadows and soften harsh lines for clean, artfully crafted eye looks with ease. It also doubles as a setting brush for her Creamy Concealer Kit as it’s very dense and fluffy so it picks up just the right amount of product to softly set your concealer and lock it in place for crease-free, all day wear.

The Eye Blender Brush features a long, slim tapered handle that’s comfortable to hold and easy to use as you blend away or lock your concealer in place. It has a small yet fluffy brush head that’s dense yet incredibly soft and never scratchy. When I first tried the Eye Blender Brush, I was using it to set my concealer which worked really well as it doesn’t over apply powder to my already dry eyes and it helped to really buff it in. However, I always had a hunch that it would be a wonderful eyeshadow blending brush from the moment I laid eyes on it so I started using it to help blend and buff shadows for a seamless look and became obsessed with it. The Eye Blender Brush is hands down the best blending brush I’ve used so far! It doesn’t feel hard or scratchy when I sweep it back and forth and it blends my crease shades together perfectly without leaving any obvious lines or requiring too much time.

I’m already planning on investing in another one of Bobbi’s Eye Blenders because it’s great quality overall. I’ve washed it more times than I can count and it doesn’t shed at all. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve seen this baby lose a hair since it joined my collection almost a year ago. The Eye Blender Brush is extremely well built as it doesn’t feel loose or wobbly after a ton of wear and washes which is often the case with my cheaper Elf brushes and some of my MAC brushes over time. Bobbi Brown’s Eye Blender Brush is a little on the expensive side at $34 but I whole heartedly think it’s worth every penny. Especially if you struggle with blending eyeshadows. Or if you’re just a hardcore shadow junkie who’s looking to make life a little easier. I highly recommend checking it out the next time you hit your local Bobbi Brown counter!
