ColourPop x Karrueche Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks Review
If you haven’t ordered any pieces from Karrueche’s ColourPop collection yet you are surely missing out because Ms. Karrueche showed up and showed up with her KaePop Collection. It’s actually really nice! There’s eyeshadows, bronzer and, of course, liquid lipsticks to help you channel your inner model Karrueche style. A while back, I ordered the Glo Up Super Shock Cheek Highlighter and all of her Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks and couldn’t be more impressed with the shades and quality of her collection. I have to give it to Karrueche and ColourPop. This collection is hot!
All of the KaePop pieces are banging so hard to say which product is the star of the show. If I had to choose, it would probably be the Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks with Glo Up being a super duper close second. Karrueche’s limited edition Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks are still all the rage on social media months after their release. There’s 3 shades including:
- Chi pale peachy beige
- Kae rust brown with red undertone
- Rooch brick wine with brown undertone
The KaePop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks are limited edition but they feature the same formula as the regular ol’ shades so they perform the same. Each shade goes on smoothly and evenly with a thin, lightweight texture and full coverage in a single swipe. The KaePop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks take about a minute or so to fully dry down to an ultra matte finish that’s budge-proof. Neither of the shades transferred much at all and they all held up for around 7 hours before showing slight signs of fading. Like the regular shades, the KaePop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks can be drying and emphasize the texture of lips so it’s best to prep well (exfoliate and moisturize) before application for the best results. Otherwise, I think Karrueche and ColourPop did a bang up job with her limited edition Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks as they’re wearable and very easy to pull off on a variety of skin tones. I highly recommend adding them to your cart before they’re gone!
