Milani Lash Trifecta Mascara Review

Milani Lash Trifecta Mascara

Milani is my go to brand for a good affordable lipstick, gloss or liner but for some reason I’ve never really thought to try their mascaras. I was actually quite surprised when I visited their booth at Ipsy’s Generation Beauty LA and received the new Lash Trifecta Mascara instead of one of their dazzling lippies that we all know and love. I’m always up for trying new products from brands I love so I was curious to see if the Lash Trifecta Mascara would live up to Milani’s usual high quality standards. I’m pleased to report that it does!

The Milani Lash Trifecta Mascara is designed to lengthen, curl and separate lashes with it a long, slim curved plastic spiky applicator. I love the wand because it really grips my short, stubby lashes and separates them with ease. I’m also a huge fan of the Lash Trifecta formula because it does just what it says and holds up incredibly well on my watery eyes. Lash Trifecta really lengthens my lashes and gives them a nice flirty curl on top of taming my naturally unruly lashes. It’s not a waterproof formula but Lash Trifecta still manages to last over 8 hours on my watery eyes without smudging or flaking all over the place. However, it’s still rather easy to remove with a little Bi-Facil or cleansing oil when it time to hit the sheets.

The Milani Lash Trifecta Mascara is one of the few mascaras I can wear alone (on my “no makeup” days of course) because it actually gives me the appearance of lashes–even from a distance. I still much prefer the look of falsies for my more beat face days but Lash Trifecta still manages to play a role in my routine because it really lengthens my bottom lashes and makes a great falsies primer too. Although my lashes are short, they’re super curly so sometimes I have trouble getting my falsies to lie flatly along the base of my lash line without my lashes curling up underneath. A quick coat of Lash Trifecta really smooths out my natural lashes and gives them a nice curl that makes them blend seamlessly into all of my falsies with ease.

In a nutshell, Milani did the damn thing when it comes to the Lash Trifecta Mascara! Lash Trifecta easily lives up to its claims and transforms my lashes to short and crazy to long and flirty. Plus, it even plays well with falsies which is a huge deal for me. Part of me is kicking myself for not trying Lash Trifecta sooner but I’m so glad that I received it at Gen Beauty LA because I probably would have never tried it. If you’ve been passing by the Milani Lash Trifecta Mascara (like I have) then you need to get with the program and give it a try too. I think you’ll like it!
