Too Faced Warm Glow Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo Review
Never tried Too Faced? Well now is the time to do so! Too Faced has been creating pure magic with their recent spring and summer releases that are just too good to pass up. Too Faced isn’t just about cute, girly packaging. Nope! Too Faced knows the quality is what really counts and I can honestly say everything I’ve tried from Too Faced so far has been pure quality. The Born This Way Foundation has become my new go to and now I’m head over heels for the new Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo in Warm Glow. It’s definitely been lighting my fuse!
The new Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo is a spin-off from Too Faced’s bestselling highlighter, Candlelight. This time around it comes with two shades in one and comes in two varieties: Rosy Glow, for lighter, cooler complexions, and Warm Glow, for darker, warmer complexions. Because I live to be a glowing golden goddess all the time I opted for Candlelight Warm Glow since I knew it would work beautifully with my brown skin.
Candlelight Warm Glow features two shimmering highlighters in one: a light champagne gold and a peachy gold with fine golden shimmer that isn’t super detectable in the pan but packs a mighty punch when applied. Both shades are quite pigmented and only require a light touch to give you that lit from within candlelight glow that brightens without looking metallic or too made up. However, if you like a more intense glow that dazzles and dances every time light hits it then you’ll also dig Candlelight Warm Glow because it’s easily buildable to take you a whole new level of glow. If you follow me on Snapchat, then you probably got a chance to see Candlelight Warm Glow in action on video where it glows and glows looking like pure gold on my cheeks.
I’m totally in love with the gorgeous glow I get from Candlelight Warm Glow even though it’s not the most unique highlighter on the planet. However, the formula is what sets it apart from most highlighters. Candlelight Warm Glow has an incredibly silky texture that almost feels like a cream and blends very easily. It doesn’t take much effort to apply and the formula adheres to the skin well whether I use Born This Way or just my Bobbi Brown Skin Weightless Powder Foundation. Both shades are consistent in quality and can easily be used alone or swirled together for a customizable glow that adds a little spice and variety to your routine.
Candlelight Warm Glow wears very well. I’ve swirled this beauty on for a few long work days and found that it held up like a champ for over 10 hours with minor fading. I also took Candlelight Warm Glow on a night out on the town with friends and it still held on through rounds of margaritas and a quick sweat at a nightclub. If you’re anything like me, I’m sure your collection is overflowing with highlighters right now but I still urge you to check out the Too Faced Candlelight Warm Glow Highlighting Duo just because it’s so beautiful and versatile. You definitely need it if you’re new to the highlighting game and looking to build up your stash. Bottom line, everyone needs to check out the new Candlelight Highlighting Duos asap!
