ColourPop Nillionaire Super Shock Shadow Review

ColourPop Nillionaire Super Shock Shadow

I’m always singing the praises of ColourPop’s lipsticks but I have to show their Super Shock Shadows a little love too! I have a nice stash of Super Shock Shadows in my collection but sometimes I forgot about them because I’m always reaching for palettes. Which isn’t right at all because (*Kanye West voice*) ColourPop makes some of the best eyeshadows in the world. And they deserve all the love! For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been making it my duty to show my ColourPop Super Shock Shadows a little more love and each time I open one of those cute little jars I’m reminded just how magical they really are.

My favorite shade at the moment is Nilliionaire. Nillionaire is a warm bronze with tons of gold, pink and purple shimmer that gives it an out of this world metallic finish that almost looks holographic. It’s so amazing! Nillionaire has pretty much become my go to eyeshadow for everyday because it looks really natural against my skin tone yet the metallic finish really makes my eyes pop and standout. I find myself reaching for Nillionaire a lot these days because I can easily sweep a brown shadow in my crease and then pop it on my lids for a 5 minute look thats simple yet glamorous.

Like the metallic finish, the formula is the bomb too. Nillionaire has a soft cushiony texture that’s creamy but not super emollient so it doesn’t slide around too much. Nillionaire also has a powdery finish once it sets so I don’t have to worry about setting it with a powder eyeshadow to lock it in place or keep it from creasing. Without a primer, Nillionaire applies very well with just a tiny bit of fall out and lasts me pretty much all day without creasing much at all. Especially if I don’t go overboard layering it on. With a primer, Nilliionaire is twice as great and lasts for quite a long time. There’s still a little bit of fallout, but I can layer it on like crazy without fear of the color creasing and it lasts for well over 10 hours when paired with a primer. The best part about Nillionaire though is how easy it is to apply and blend. Whether I use my fingers or a brush Nillionaire is a dream to work with. It’s hard to believe the Super Shock Shadows are only 5 bucks because they’re hands down the best cream eyeshadow formula I’ve tried so far. And Nillionaire is beyond perfect! Whether you’re a ColourPop newbie or certified junkie, Nillionaire Super Shock Shadow needs to be in your collection!
