Man was June a hot month! And I’m not just talking about the weather. Last month, I touched (and bought) a lot of new makeup and skincare goodies that were unbelievably good. From the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick launch to the stunning Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Collection, we were up to our ears in hot makeup releases all month long. Of course, I ended up giving into temptation for a few of them here and there (which I loved!) but I also got a chance to try a couple of not so new products that turned out to be great too. So great that I just couldn’t put them down all month long. Here’s an overview of my top picks for June:

Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Extra Radiance Renewer

Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Extra Radiance Renewer

June wasn’t just about hot, new makeup for me. I also discovered just how amazing Clinique’s skincare products can be. I recently started using the Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Extra Radiance Renewer and got hooked the moment I tried it. The Turnaround Concentrate Extra Radiance Renewer is hydrating serum designed to increase cell turnover for brighter, healthier skin. I loved how it lightly hydrated my skin and gave me a healthy glow that looked amazing with or without makeup. The Turnaround Concentrate Extra Radiance Renewer quickly became a staple in my routine last month to help my dry skin stay nice and plump and give my summer glow essentials an extra boost. I’m actually sad that it’s all gone but will more than likely repurchase it.

Becca Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector

Becca Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector

Powder highlights are usually my go to for a targeted killer highlight but I still couldn’t put down the Becca Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector last month. It’s a golden bronze liquid illuminator with a subtle pearly glow that mixes and layers well with everything. I would pat a little on my cheeks over my makeup to give my go to highlighters a little more oomph. But my favorite way to use the Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector was to mix it with my favorite primers or liquid foundations to give me a soft an all over glow. The Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector works like a charm as it doesn’t look or feel greasy nor does it add too much shine or shimmer. Instead, it simply made my skin look soft and luminous all day long without compromising the quality of my primer or foundation. I’ll definitely be wearing the Becca Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector all summer long!

Urban Decay Big Bang Vice Lipstick

Urban Decay Big Bang Vice Lipstick

You guys know I love me some pink so it shouldn’t come as a surprise at all that Urban Decay’s new Big Bang Vice Lipstick was in heavy rotation last month. Big Bang is hot fuchsia pink with a crazy metallic finish that literally looks like straight up glitter on the lips. It’s certainly not a lipstick everyone will love but it definitely made me swoon. I just couldn’t put it down! Big Bang is an incredibly fun, eye-catching lipstick that’s very comfortable to wear and easily perks up my simple everyday looks for work. Or adds a touch of glamour to my fancier looks. Big Bang is another fave that I’ll be wearing all summer long.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

The last thing I need is another highlighter or blush but I couldn’t resist the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette. I tried to but after seeing so many pretty pictures and swatches I decided I needed it. Yes need. This palette turned out to be amazing! I already loved Champagne Pop but I thought Prosecco Pop and the blushes were going to be pure hype. Definitely not! Prosecco Pop and Amaretto Mineral Blush quickly became my go to cheek combo as Amaretto adds a nice subtle color and glow while Prosecco Pop delivers a more serious intense golden glow. I couldn’t get enough of them last month! The other 2 blushes are beautiful as well and add a little more color which is perfect when I need to perk it up a bit. Becca and Jaclyn Hill really made magic when they created this lovely palette!

MAC Othereathly Mineralize Skinfinish

MAC Otherearthly Mineralize Skinfinish

On the off days that I could actually put down my Champagne Collection Face Palette I would quickly reach for the limited edition MAC Otherearthly Mineralize Skinfinish. For months, I debated on whether or not I would buy it but now that I have it I don’t regret it one bit! Otherearthly is one of the most unique highlighters in my stash combining 3 shimmering highlighters in one that swirls together to give a customizable peachy gold glow. I love that each shade has enough room to fit my trusty fan brush to wear individually but I still prefer to swirl it around and mix them together as the result is beautiful. Otherearthly delivers the most incredible glow that could light up an entire room on its own yet still looks natural without emphasizing the texture of my dry skin or looking like a glitter bomb. I totally wish Otherearthly wasn’t limited edition because everyone needs it!

Smashbox Culver City Coral L.A. Lights Blush & Highlight Palette

Smashbox Culver City Coral L.A. Lights Blush & Highlight Palette

I don’t always wear blush but last month I found myself topping my cheeks off with a little color thanks to some pretty awesome face palettes like Becca x Jaclyn Hill’s and Smashbox’s Culver City Coral L.A. Lights Blush & Highlight Palette. The Culver City Coral Palette features 2 coral blushes and a peachy coral highlighter to add a little color and naturally sculpt cheeks. I just love how natural both blushes look on my brown skin and how soft and pretty the highlighter turned out to be. Both of the blushes adds a nice flush of color without giving me clown cheeks or overpowering my makeup and the highlighter is subtle yet buildable so it’s easy for me to go natural or glow for the gold with a few extra sweeps. Culver City Coral L.A. Lights Blush & Highlight Palette is pretty much foolproof and so flattering that I don’t see myself putting it down any time soon.
