You know what time it is, girl. It’s time to glow! Glowing cheeks and poppin’ highlights are great all year long but you know you have to amp it up a bit during the summer. It’s only right! These days, there’s a ton of shimmering highlighters to help you get those cheeks summer ready. I’ve tried a quite a few of them but there’s always a few that stick for me and hold a special sparkling place in my heart. To help you glow up this summer, I’ve picked out my top 5 favorite highlighters (at the moment LOL) so you can be a glowing golden goddess too.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Hard Candy Highlighter

Anastasia Beverly Hills Hard Candy Highlighter from the Gleam Glow Kit ($40.00)

At first glance, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Kit seems expensive but it breaks down to just $10 for each amazing highlighter. Such a steal! The downside is that the pans aren’t available individually (yet) but I’m hoping Anastasia makes it happen soon because I’ve fallen hard for Hard Candy and would love to have it in a compact. Hard Candy is a golden peach with strong pink pearl that’s one of the most unique highlighters you’ll ever come across. It looks great on both light and deep complexions as the pink glow isn’t too strong or too cool. I love how it adds a beautiful sheen and a touch of pink that even doubles as a subtle blush. If you love to glow in pink, Anastasia Beverly Hills Hard Candy Highlighter will probably end up being your best friend this summer!

Laura Geller Gilded Honey Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator

Laura Geller Gilded Honey Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator ($26.00)

Laura Geller is quickly becoming the queen of cheeks with her line of Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators! I finally got around to trying the much raved about Gilded Honey and there’s a reason it’s developing such a strong following on Instagram and YouTube. Gilded Honey is a warm honey gold with lots of fine golden shimmer and a creamy baked powder formula that just melts into cheeks. Gilded Honey literally looks like I’ve poured melted gold on my face and I love it! You can easily light a room and be a bombshell golden goddess in Gilded Honey with little to no effort. While it’s still pretty easy to achieve a subtle glow I think Laura Geller’s Gilded Honey Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator is best reserved for those days you want to stop traffic with your highlighter.

Makeup Revolution Golden Lights Vivid Baked Highlighter

Makeup Revolution Golden Lights Vivid Baked Highlighter ($6.00)

Even after hearing a ton of good things about Makeup Revolution I wasn’t sure the Golden Lights Vivid Baked Highlighter was going to be all that. But it is! Golden Lights is a bold yellow gold highlighter that’s extremely pigmented and definitely not for the faint of heart. The strong yellow gold glow can be seen from miles away. You definitely need a light hand and a fan brush with this beauty! Don’t let the strong pigmentation fool you into thinking it’s bad quality though. Golden Lights is very easy to blend and glows without looking metallic or glittery thanks to the fine shimmer. Makeup Revolution Golden Lights Vivid Baked Highlighter is strictly for my glow queens who prefer to glow hard or go home!

Too Faced Warm Glow Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo

Too Faced Warm Glow Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo ($30.00)

Who couldn’t use two highlighters in one? With the new Too Faced Warm Glow Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo you get a golden champagne and peachy gold highlighter all in one that you can use separately or swirl together for a killer summer glow. Both shades work like a charm to achieve that essential summer glow up we all need but I love how Warm Glow looks when swirled together. When combined, they give you a stunning golden peachy glow that can be applied lightly for a lit from within glow or piled on a for an intense, strong golden sheen that can’t be ignored. The Too Faced Warm Glow Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo is a must have for my warm toned beauties who love a good golden glow that’s good for everyday and weekend use too.

Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick

Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick ($46.00)

Bobbi Brown is known for doing a lot of things right and highlighter is definitely one them. Her iconic Shimmer Bricks have been softly illuminating cheeks for years now. It’s almost a crime to not own one! I have a few of them and one of my current favorites is Pink Quartz. Pink Quartz features 5 shimmering strips of pink, bronze and gold that creates a warm pink glow when swirled together. I love that Pink Quartz allows you to customize your glow for the perfect summer flush. You can add a little more bronze if you want more warmth or a bit more pink if you’re in a rose gold kinda mood. Pink Quartz has a very natural lit from within kind of glow that looks like you’re born with radiant skin but it can also be built up to bronze goddess status in no time. Bobbi’s Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick is a wonderful option for my glow gals who like to switch things up a bit and create her own custom glow.
