Lipstick is My Vice!

Urban Decay Twitch, Heroine, Conspiracy, Violate Vice Lipstick

I just love me some lipstick! A good lipstick can completely lift your mood and transform your look in an instant. A girl can never have too many lipsticks which is probably why Urban Decay decided to unleash 100 shades of their new Vice Lipsticks to help us perk up our pouts in every color imaginable. I’m a huge fan of Urban Decay lipsticks because they’re smooth, creamy, pigmented and long lasting so I just had to add a few more to my collection to round things out. What can I say? Lipstick is my vice!

Staring down 100 different shades can be intimidating and overwhelming for some people but I’m like a kid in a candy store every time I walk pass the Vice Lipstick display at Ulta. I’m a hardcore lipstick junkie and the Vice Lipsticks tickle my every fancy with shades of pink, red, nude, purple and even blue. I already have a few Vice Lipsticks in my collection but I went ahead and picked up 4 more of them including:

  • Twitch soft purple with blue undertone (Cream)
  • Heroine navy blue (Comfort Matte)
  • Conspiracy plum bronze shimmer (Metallized)
  • Violate dusty purple with pink undertone (Cream)

My first choice was Conspiracy because I just adore brown lipsticks and Conspiracy is rather unique with its bronzy metallic finish that makes lips look sultry and sparkly. You’d think that it would be uncomfortable to wear due to the heavy glitter content but Conspiracy is just as creamy and comfortable to wear as the Cream formula. Speaking of the Cream formula, I also decided to get my hands on Violate and Twitch finally because they’re such beautiful colors and they feel so good on the lips. When the Vice Lipsticks first launched, I found myself sporting Violate almost everyday because it’s such a soft subtle pink that has a neutral vibe but still has a little oomph thanks to its cool purple undertone. Twitch, on the other hand, gives my lips a little more pop as it’s more bold and daring. It’s a great summer purple that I like to swipe on when I’m feeling fun and flirty. I don’t know about you but I live for a dramatically bold lip and Heroine is exactly that. A straight up blue lipstick can be hard to find so Urban Decay cornered the market with Heroine and I couldn’t be happier. Heroine is both vampy and vibrant at the same time with a Comfort Matte finish that’s creamy and comfortable to wear. It goes on a little patchy so it takes a little extra to get it on nice and even but I love how it looks on me so I don’t mind layering it on a bit. If you haven’t tried an Urban Decay Vice Lipstick yet you are seriously missing out! You definitely need to run (not walk) to your nearest Ulta or Sephora to check out all 100 delicious shades. ASAP!
