MAC Fleeting Romance Pro Longwear Blush Review
A good bronzer and highlighter are my summer essentials but you can’t chisel your cheeks and make them glow without adding a little color. You gotta throw some blush in there, girl! Sometimes I like to go a little bold with the blush but most times I want just a little warmth or just the right amount of color to perk up my complexion and balance out my bronzer and highlighter. At the moment, I’ve been wanting a little more color so I’ve been reaching for a longtime favorite of mine: MAC Fleeting Romance Pro Longwear Blush.
Fleeting Romance has been in my collection for a long time but I usually only pull it out for summer because it makes me look flushed and feminine. It’s a soft pinky coral with a silky matte finish that looks great on light, medium and deep skin tones. I usually opt for warmer, more orange-tone blushes because they look most natural. However, Fleeting Romance still manages to look incredibly natural on my brown skin still adding the warmth that I love from an orange-toned blush but with a pinch of coral that instantly brightens and lifts my cheeks. Exactly what I need after overloading my cheeks with bronzer all summer!
The Pro Longwear formula is designed to last for 8 hours without fading, feeling heavy or giving you the dreaded clown cheek look. Fleeting Romance is pretty pigmented but it has a soft yet dense texture that allows your brush to pick up the perfect amount of product to softly sweep on the cheeks. It’s perfect for both oily and dry skin as it doesn’t accentuate dryness or pores and the slightly dense, matte formula easily holds up in a sweat. Products don’t always live up to their claims but MAC seemed to hold up their end of the bargain with the Pro Longwear Blush formula. Even in the intense summer heat, Fleeting Romance still lasts me all day long (around 8-10) hours with some slight fading around the edges. I couldn’t think of a better blush to add to your summer arsenal! You can snag MAC Fleeting Romance Pro Longwear Blush from any MAC store or counter for $27.
What a pretty blush! And what is that lipstick ? Seems to go well with it
