Pink Wednesday just took a sweet turn thanks to Anastasia and I’m loving every bit of it! I recently ordered the new limited edition Sweets Glow Kit and I’m completely blown away by how beautiful it is in person. I used to think Gleam was my pink dream Glow Kit but Sweets definitely takes the cake. No pun intended. The new Sweets Glow Kit comes in the cutest lilac pink shimmering packaging and features 4 golden highlighters with a touch of pink tossed in. It’s hands down the best Glow Kit Anastasia has created yet!

I’m a huge sucker for pink and highlighters so I was dying to get my hands on the Sweets Glow Kit when it was first released. Unfortunately, it sold out in the blink of an eye so I had to wait for a restock. But when it came I was on it! That Glow and Sundipped are the obvious choices for WOC but I think Sweets is the next best thing when it comes to adding a little color and taking a step outside of the typical bronze and gold. Sweets Glow Kit includes:

• Marshmallow intense pearl with gold reflect
• Sassy Grape lavender with blue reflect
• Butterscotch gold with white reflect
• Taffy a fusion of pink, peach and gold reflect

So there’s still a little gold in Sweets but the stars of the show are definitely Sassy Grape and Taffy. Sassy Grape is like nothing I’ve ever seen before and it’s so beautiful! I’ve never tried a lavender highlight before but I absolutely love how it looks on brown skin. Sassy Grape isn’t too cool or too light so it doesn’t look super stark or ashy. It’s not the most traditional highlight shade but if you’re looking to spice up your highlighter wardrobe then you definitely need to try it. Taffy is also quite beautiful as it seriously pops and the pink really shines through giving it a more rose gold appearance that instantly brightens my entire face.

I now own pretty much all of the Glow Kits including That Glow, Gleam, Sundipped (which I’ll share soon), and Sweets. If I had to choose one to keep out of them all I would hands down pick Sweets. I love the mix of pink, purple and gold all in one palette and Sweets seems to be the most intense of all the Glow Kits. We even see a bit of glitter in Butterscotch and Taffy that makes me double as killer eyeshadows too. At the moment, the Sweets Glow Kit is limited edition and exclusive to Anastasia Beverly Hills but I have my fingers crossed that it becomes permanent and starts popping up in stores. Everyone could use a little Sweets!
