Too Faced x Kat Von D Collection Sneak Peek!
Why choose to be naughty or nice when you can be both? Too Faced and Kat Von D have teamed up to help us get naughty and nice this holiday with their new upcoming collaboration. A while back, Too Faced owner, Jerrod Blandino, and Kat Von D let it slip on Instagram that they’d be collaborating for a special project. Well more sneak peeks have finally rolled out and it looks like Too Faced and Kat Von D are creating an entire limited edition collection that’s both edgy and cute.
The star of the show is the eyeshadow palette which is packaged as a heart that you can use altogether or break apart to use separately. The Too Faced x Kat Von D Palette will be the sweetest heartbreak you’ll ever experience as it soothes your soul with smooth, blendable eyeshadows and allows you to piece your heart back together without the pain or messy strings attached of a nasty breakup. If I could replace my own heart with this beauty and pump pretty makeup through my veins I absolutely would because Too Faced and Kat Von D seriously knows how to make a girl happy.
The Too Faced half of the palette is all nice with its girly and sweet pink and gold packaging and softer shades. The Too Faced shadows are more neutral featuring 6 shadows ranging from pale cream to a soft mauvey purple. It can easily be used to create more natural, day time looks when used alone. Or you can keep the heart in tact and flip over to Kat Von D’s darker side which is more smokey, bold and daring.
Once you’re done being nice, Kat Von D entices you to get naughty with her edgy shadow picks. Her eyeshadows are much darker and less traditional featuring 6 shades ranging from milky white to a bright red. Kat Von D’s side of the palette allows you to get smokey and edgy with ease when you use it alone. Or invites you to get creative and whip up a look that’s both naughty and nice with the use of Too Faced’s softer, more neutral shadows. Then you can top it all off with the included full sized Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara for eyes that seriously pop.
This heart shaped masterpiece is the delicious main entree of the Too Faced x Kat Von D collaboration but it’s not the only piece in their upcoming collection. There will also be mini sets that include:
- A makeup bag featuring Jerrod Blandino’s pup, Clover, that comes with a Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick and deluxe Too Faced highlighter and blush
- A duo set of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
There’s no word on any names or prices yet but it’s been said that we’ll be seeing the Too Faced x Kat Von D collaboration on December 26th for the holidays. I’m still curious to see the swatches of the palette so far before I decide whether I want it or not but I still like the looks of the collection.
