MAC x Taraji P. Henson Collection Coming Soon!
For the most part, I always get a little excited when I come across a good makeup post on Instagram. It’s usually just a quick little wiggle dance. Or a, “Oop, I’m gonna need that!” But when I saw that Taraji P. Henson was collaborating with MAC to release her own limited edition collection was hollering at my screen. “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS! MAC come through!” Yeah, it was intense.
But can you blame me? Tara P. Henson has been sprinkling her sass and unique brand of #blackgirlmagic over TVs and movie screens since Baby Boy (if you haven’t seen it you seriously need to!) and I’ve been absolutely obsessed with her ever since. It took Taraji (we’re on a first name basis in my head) a little while to gain traction in Hollywood but her phenomenal performance in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and recent slaying of the character Cookie in the hip-hopera, Empire, has launched her into mega-stardom that no one can deny. And you better believe I’ve been in my seat screaming, “Yaaaaaas!” every time. Every single time.
As you can probably tell, I’m super pumped that MAC has also recognized the greatness that is Taraji P. Henson and has decided to create an entire makeup collection around her magicalness. Taraji’s collection will be a small but powerful as it’s going to be one of very few MAC collections that work well for WOC. The collection includes:

I wish that MAC would have released this collection through counters and other retailers too but I’ll be taking my chances to order every single piece when this collection drops.
