Tarte’s Kissing Squad Lip Sculptor Quad is a Steal!
Liquid lipsticks are life. True enough. But I can’t act like juicy, glossy poppin’ lips aren’t the move all year round! Most times, I do like to gravitate towards mattes throughout fall and winter but mattes can be a little drying. And when you’re talking to people nonstop for hours a day matte lips aren’t always ideal. They start to crack, peel and get all dry. Then before you know it, you’re lips are pretty much hanging off your face and you have no idea how bad it is until you pass a mirror. Tragic.
Tarte is inviting you to skip that dry lip drama this holiday with the new Kissing Squad Lip Sculptor Quad Set. The Kissing Squad Set is a killer steal and one of the best holiday values you’re going to come across this season. It features 4 full sized Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lip Gloss for just $34. One Lip Sculptor is $24 so my hat’s off to Tarte for giving us 4 of brand spankin’ new limited edition shades for just an extra 10 bucks. That’s the holiday spirit!
The Tarte Kissing Squad Lip Sculptor Quad includes:
- Kitten soft peachy beige
- Minx rosy brown
- Flirt berry fuchsia
- Pixie rosy pink
The colors are definitely dupable but I’m still all about the Tarte Kissing Squad Lip Sculptor Quad Set because all of the shades are brown girl friendly, the price is right and the formula is bomb. For the last couple weeks, I’ve been rocking Rogue (a deep burgundy wine) a ton because the color is perfect for fall and the lipstick and lip gloss formulas are super buttery and work like a charm on my dry lips. They’re never drying, sticky or tacky. Both the lipstick and gloss sport a lightweight texture that’s lightly moisturizing and rather pigmented. The Tarte Lip Sculptors are a dream if you’re looking for a buttery soft lippie to get you through winter.
The lipsticks are incredibly creamy with full coverage in a single swipe while the glosses are more sheer with buildable coverage that lets your natural lip color shine through a bit. The Lip Sculptor lippies are ideal for holiday because they make lips look full, juicy and kissable. Perfect for those under the mistletoe moments! I do wish Tarte added a little more flair in terms of the color selection (like another brighter color or two) but I’m still happy with the colors they chose. Minx and Kitten make great nude lips to pair with smoky eyes (like this Gingerbread Cookie inspired look) for a sultry holiday look. Then you have Flirt and Pixie that are a little more bold and let you play up some color or freeze the room with your juicy lips.
The shades are all flattering on a variety of skin tones too, including brown skin. These days, it’s rare to find a set or palette that’s 100% brown skin friendly so I have to give Tarte their props for really delivering with the Kissing Squad Lip Sculptor Quad. I think it’s a must have this holiday. You definitely want to snatch this up at Ulta before it’s gone!
