No matter how much new makeup I buy I always find myself reaching for some of the same products over and over again. Of course, I like to switch a few things up from time to time but when it comes to certain products I like to just stick to what works. Especially when I’ve got a busy schedule ahead of me. That’s why I ended up keeping the same handful of products in rotation last month. Nothing’s better than a quick everyday beat with your faves!

LORAC Mega Pro 3, MAC Nutcracker Sweet Copper Face Compact, Tarte Color Wheel Amazonian Clay Blush Palette

LORAC Mega Pro 3 Palette I don’t always have the time to wear eyeshadow everyday but whenever I did I was quick to whip out my trusty LORAC Mega Pro 3 Palette. I was nervous to buy it after seeing so many mixed reviews but I absolutely love it! I love that there’s 16 mattes to choose from so I’m not overloaded with shimmers like most palettes. The mattes are nicely pigmented, super buttery and incredibly easy to blend while the shimmers go on like silk and really make my eyes pop. It didn’t matter if I was feeling smoky or if I only had enough time to blend together a natural look the LORAC Mega Pro 3 Palette came through.

MAC Copper Face Compact When you find a good blush and highlighter combo you have to see it through! Once I got my hands on the limited edition Copper Face Compact that was it for me. I barely touched any other blush or highlighter last month because Whisper of Gilt and Pleasure Model went with every look every time. It didn’t matter if I was rocking a purple smoky eye or just a little eyeliner. The Copper Fact Compact simply worked perfectly and made my cheeks pop and glow like no tomorrow. I really wish MAC would make Whisper of Gilt and Pleasure Model permanent so everyone can experience how magical they are.

Tarte Color Wheel Amazonian Clay Blush Palette Before I managed to get my hands on the Copper Face Compact I was all about the Tarte Color Wheel holiday blush palette. And I still am. It’s probably one of the best holiday palettes on the market as it has a great value, nice variety and the quality is bomb. I’m still pretty new to Tarte blushes but I quickly learned that they’re amazing! Tarte’s Amazonian Clay blushes pretty much melt into the skin with a soft airbrushed finish that looks incredibly natural. I still find myself reaching for the Color Wheel palette when I’m in a pinch but want to mix a couple different colors really quickly.

Tarte Rogue The Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Gloss It’s extremely rare for me to wear a lip color for more than a week but, believe it or not, I managed to wear the Tarte Rogue Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Gloss pretty much all month long. Rogue is a deep burgundy wine that adds a nice punch of color that’s not too vampy or too bold so it works nicely for everyday looks on brown skin. The lipstick and gloss formula are so creamy and buttery that I found myself popping it on everyday at work because they both wear nicely and don’t dry out my lips. At the moment, I still have Rogue in my work makeup bag because it’s so pretty and fuss free. I definitely think more people need to try the Tarte Lip Sculptors asap. They’re totally underrated!

Becca Backlight Priming Filter, Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil, Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water

Becca Backlight Priming Filter If you follow me on Snapchat, then you’ve probably noticed that my skin has been glowing like crazy lately and the Becca Backlight Priming Filter is part of the reason why. I’ve been mixing the Backlight Priming Filter with the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil to give my skin a little extra moisture and a hell of a radiance boost. The Becca Backlight Priming Filter makes my skin look incredibly radiant without feeling or looking oily or greasy. Once I apply my foundation, my skin looks flawless and has a killer soft glow that’s very natural and ethereal. It’s a must have for winter!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil Along with the Becca Backlight Priming Filter, the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil has also been giving me a nice all over glow and a little extra moisture. It’s just starting to get really cold here in Michigan but the wind has been much drier lately which has been causing my skin to feel a little more dry and look a little dull. The Photo Finish Primer Oil has been reviving my poor dry skin and making it look like bronzed silk. It really smooths out the complexion and gives makeup a texture-free base for smooth sailing all day long. If you have dry skin, I absolutely recommend trying the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil too.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water Because my dry skin can never have too much moisture I’ve been going crazy over the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water. Last month, the Photo Finish Primer Water was in heavy rotation because I used it as both a primer and a setting spray. Even though I’m more on the dry side, I prefer to wear powder foundations throughout the week because powders are easier and quicker to apply. The Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water has been a savior for me because it helps my powder foundations go on much more smoothly and gives them a nice dewy glow when spritzed on top. I can certainly see myself going through this bottle in a couple of months because it literally feels like a drink of water on the skin. Exactly what I need this time of year!
