Brows have been a hot topic in the beauty world for quite some time now. No matter where I turn there’s some type of brow talk going on! After seeing everyone rave online for weeks about how amazing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is my curiosity got the best of me. I just had to see what the hype was about!

The packaging is simple and functional. It looks like a typical gel liner. The glass jar is rather thick and sturdy. The top is shiny black plastic with a bronze Anastasia Beverly Hills logo. It does seem to get attract finger prints and stain easily but it’ll survive being tossed into a messy makeup bag.

I picked the darkest shade, Ebony, which is a deep cool brown. The texture is very soft, creamy and pigmented. A little goes a very long way with Dipbrow. I don’t have to load up the brush or dip into the jar too often to fill in a brow. It blends very well and sets to a comfortably soft gel finish. Once completely dry, Dipbrow doesn’t budge! The wear is just incredible. It lasts for well over 8 hours without signs of fading. I’ve even partied and showered while using it and experienced no smudging or running. I’ve been a long time fan of MAC Spiked and Stud eyebrow pencils but I’m tossing them to the curb for the Dipbrow Pomade. Not only is the formula amazing but you need so little so the jar will last forever! I was going through a brow pencil at least once a month. I doubt I’ll finish this jar anytime soon. I highly recommend heading over to Sephora and checking it out!

As promised, I have another look of the night for you guys! I’ve been sick for the past couple of weeks so I’ve just been lying in bed feeling miserable and bored. I just had to play in some makeup! It really helps lift my spirits. I can’t explain it. Anywho! Here’s what I used to create this look:

Face

Lips

  • MAC Beet Lip Pencil (all over)
  • MAC Currant Lip Pencil (outline and inner corners)
  • MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick

  1. I have been toying with the idea of purchasing this. I love my brows and like you have steady gone for Stud or Spiked according to my hair colour changes. There is something about gel products for brows that concern me. This was a great post. xoxo
