Urban Decay Bittersweet Revolution Lip Gloss Review
When you’re a makeup junkie, it becomes quite common to switch out the lippies in your purse like underwear. Who wants to be tied down to the same ol’ lip color all the time? Not me! Well…….unless it’s pink or purple. There’s always a random pink or purple lippie that manages to escape the purge every time.
The latest lippie to snag a longterm spot in my makeup bag is the Urban Decay Bittersweet Revolution Lip Gloss. I’ve been raving about this gloss for months now because it’s such a delight to wear. Bittersweet is a vibrant cool grape with a slight pink undertone and a nice juicy sheen. It’s a really fun purple gloss that’ll easily brighten up any look and add a flirty pop of color.
Bittersweet applies smoothly and mostly evenly with semi-opaque coverage and a lightweight, creamy texture that’s super plush with soft, cushiony feel. It’s lightly moisturizing and doesn’t feel tacky or sticky at all so it’s very comfortable to wear. Whether I’m in a bright pink, cool purple or vampy lip, I’m quick to pull out Bittersweet for a touch of moisture and a little sheen. Or even if I’m just cruising the beauty aisles of Target without makeup I’ll slip this baby on for a sassy wash of color. Bittersweet is very versatile!
And the formula isn’t too shabby either. Bittersweet wears like a dream for around 2-4 hours before leaving a light purple stain and soft lips. I like it so much that I haven’t replaced it with another gloss in almost 3 months. Yes, 3 whole months of the same damn gloss. That’s how good it is!
